Biden has 7-Eleven gaffe about Indian Americans
Hyphen magazine advisory board member and blogger Sonny Le alerted us to this video of Delaware Sen. Joseph Biden, a presidential candidate, talking to Indan American supporters and making reference to 7-Eleven and Dunkin Donuts. Doh!
Sen. Biden: “I’ve had a great relationship [with Indians]… You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.”
Apparently, there’s a pattern of this among Democratic senators, according to the Times of India.
